Graves aa on poisoned targets.

In late stage of game i found something strange. When i aa minion which were poisoned by cassiopeia, my aa knocks that minion back but do no dmg. I cannot kill this minion until this poison end. I'm not sure if that work on champions too but my feelings inn this game was like "yes it work". I'm not sure if that work anytime or if something happend.
