How is it that two players whose Solo Queue rankings are that of Mid Gold team up together for some Normal Draft matches, and get paired up with players in Bronze and low Silver but then the entire enemy team is Mid to High Gold and one Plat?
rank mmr and normals mmr arent 1 in the same.
this time of year people who played rank all year are now trying to save their rank to get end of season rewards ( gold+ ) and go and play normals... since they dont or havent played normals for a long period of time their normal mmr has decayed. this is why this is happening. ( for the most part)
to fix this is to adjust the normals mmr based on the players rank mmr but riot dont seem to think that way
because MMR
they are doing a lot poorer then you think if they're paired with bronze peeps
