can roots be changed to stop dashes?

i get that coding wise it's probably that since roots prevent movement instead of cause movement which is why things like threshs hook can stop a dash but lux's root cant but what if roots procced an imperceptable movement of enemies to interrupt dashes. Things like ryze root and lux root are effectively countered by the very skills theyre meant to counter simply because of coding. If someone is rooted mid dash their movement should cease but instead they continue on their merry way until they reach their original destination, at which time the root is usually half or more over which really just punishes people who aim their cc well if the enemy happens to dash while it's in mid air.
