Kindred is my main jungler so..
Is for if you not able to get your marks for whatever reason, enemy takes them first, enemy runs away when you mark them, etc. its for when youre behind and you need the extra dmg to get you ahead a bit.
Is for when youre getting them marks down pat, or getting most of them. honestly i belive that kindreds true power shines with as much AS as possible, getting in as much of that passive on your targets is key to winning any fight.
Now most people say to get
because of the changes they made to
a little while ago (changing it from a 2 hit proc, to a 4 hit proc for ranged champs) but the fact of the matter remains that youre still using one of the only 2 50% AS increase items along with your passive, and if youre building AS anyway, youll be close to 2.5 AS, so youll be getting that 4th hit of pretty easily.
Now... if youre new to Kindred i would recommend going
just to get a feel for her as a champion.
Warrior is better on kindred because Devourer's passive only procs every 4 hit on ranges champions and warrior fits her good early way better.
Devourer if your team is winning or your fed/ahead and believe you and your team can maintain their lead.
Warrior if your team is really struggling/behind and they need your help constantly.
If the game is somewhat balanced, it is your preference on which to get.
Warrior is safe and stops you from being overly reliant on your passive.
I'd have said warrior but I watched a bit more carefully and every single proplayer is using devourer. I guess just the attackspeed and on-hit is worthwhile even if u don't consider the sated passive
I picked up Kindred recently, and I think, there is no definite "Go Warrior" or "Go Devourer"; it depends on the situation and on your playstyle. Both have some clear Pros and Con's and its up to the player to decide. Warrior gives you more power early and is the "safe" option; certainly better if you just want to snowball the early game or if you are behind and need some more immediate power. Devourer is the more greedy build, since it takes longer to actually get the powerspike of sated, but once you get it, and have a few stacks on ypur passive, you will have alot of dmg.
Personally, I usually go Devourer; Kindred is so strong, that you can get away with building Devourer and still be strong enough to gank, duel the enemy jungler or fight in skirmishes with just the AS from Devourer. Not like other Champions like Yi that are more or less useless until they get Sated, Kindred can still influence the map just fine.
This actually seemed like a reasonable and inclusive debate on the preferences towards both enchants. This is a rare and monumentous occasion.
I always went warrior because I wanted to snowball games as fast as I could and because powerfarming the jungle was never my thing. I prefer to keep lane presence and your passive just makes it too easy to mess with people. Support just died but adc escaped to stay under tower? He won't back? Mark him and go top. He'll be too afraid to leave tower and top will think they can push cuz you'll go bot. Works more than it should, really.
If you want to be stronger, you go Warrior. If you want to be weaker, you go Devourer.
Devourer into runaans is the way to go. Finish it out with like maw, steraks, and bork maybe
