What's that thing that I don't know

Simply put, i regularly win lane, and I'm a good teamfight player. Yet matchmaking -ALWAYS- puts me in team with 2 or 3 -IMBECILES- that get -RAPED- in their lanes. They just don't lose lane. They get -DESTROYED-. It's always to the point that I need to bust my ass for 50 minutes to win a game, or my team is defeated under 40.

So,

what's that thing I don't know? Why does matchmaking keep putting me with fucktards with an obvious c / d average score per match? The other team doesn't suffer this. My lane opponents are always in my range of skill and I basically never dominate meaning that I don't face noobs feeders or trolls... but my bot lane? my mid lane or my jungler? One of them is -ALWAYS- an inbred feeding fucktard that's useless by game start, and a source of gold for the other team by mid game.

What am I missing? Why does matchmaking keeps putting me in teams that are so stupidly obviously below my level of skill?

Thanks.

OK, back from the match history check. Keep in mind I could only see ranked games, so any normal games (which might be more recent) I can't comment on. Here are my suggestions:

  • The refillable potion isn't all that useful unless you plan on upgrading it. It may be cost-effective, but it only has two charges. That's less overall sustain than buying more potions. I consider the increased sustain of 3+ health potions to be gold well spent, especially in bronze/silver.
  • Building crit leads to doing lots of damage, but with Olaf, you sacrifice a lot of durability - leading you to fall off hard later in the game without the mobility or other tools a traditional melee carry has. Olaf works best if you can stick around to lifesteal.
  • You occasionally make odd boot choices - or never upgrade them at all. Movement speed is important. On Malzahar, I would go with Sorcerer's Shoes or Ionian Boots of Lucidity - Boots of Swiftness seems like an odd pick. Also, on Pantheon and Olaf, if the enemy team has magic damage and CC, Mercury's Treads are usually a better choice than Ninja Tabi.
  • If you're building Rod of Ages, do it first.
  • Win or lose, you seem to give up a lot of kills. Think about how you could improve your positioning and trading.
  • Consider taking Flash or Teleport in some of your games - they're powerful spells.
  • Objectives, objectives, objectives. In at least a couple of your games, you had a decisive advantage but never took towers and couldn't close the game - and in at least one game, this lead to a pretty major comeback for your opponents.
  • Take a look at your warding. It's not great; you might want to look at that as a way to improve.

That's all I've got for now. Hope it helps!

Step 1: Don't go on tilt and bring all your salt to the boards. Step 2: I'm going to take a look at your match history, BRB.

Thanks for taking the time for your suggestions, but I this is not a salt post, nor is it a request for suggestions.

I'm just genuinely wondering what's the deal with matchmaking. What am I missing with matchmaking.

Last matches aren't really helpful to determine what I'm talking about, especially since the ridiculous malzahar nerf I could not adjust to. I've played something like 1000 games and I main Pantheon top: In season 6 i've been out of bronze_5 -SEVERAL- times, to get pushed back to it by losing streaks.

A few examples: 2 feeders http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2173082093/230426563?tab=overview

I get "teammates" like these 60% of the time. Notice that I won lane in all these cases. I've basically "scrolled down" to show what I'm talking about.

There's something amiss with the way matchmaking finds my "teammates". I regularly achieve first kills and objectives, only to get destroyed in the team fight phase, because my enemies are stupidly fed by clueless/ worthless teammates. All my accumulated advantages in the first 20 minutes of game dissipate in the following 10 minutes to repeated unavoidable ganks / disastrous teamfights.

I was hoping that any of you had an insight about why matchmaking puts me in team with trash.

NOTE: by 'feeders' i mean those in team that end with a negative kda, or die repeatedly and lose lane
