Surrendering, the new meta?

So me and my mates realized lately that we can't get to the end of a game 9/10. Why is that? Surrender. What is going on with these crazy surrenders?

Does it depends on the ELO? Are people less interested in end games? Did Riot make comebacks harder? This has been going for a few months if not a year. Sometimes, the game ends without one tower destroyed or just after one team fight lost! This isn't normal for a MOBA...I think?

I am wondering, where does that come from? And is the community OK with that?

Yeah, most moba also don't have such a large snowball gap, 1 kill rn can easily give you a 1k gold lead because of just how much gold is in this stupid game, thats 1/3 of an item advantage, plus that gap will just get larger now since you can zone them with said advantage, even in a low elo game, 1 death can put you behind thousands of gold, this why ff's are so common now, the game is shit and unwinnable 90% of the time if your behind

Its the shit matchmaker. Most games are now 1 way stomps. There isn't much room for an actual game anymore.

People see High-Elos surrendering smartly. People see Smurfs surrenver for nothing.

Since people are idiots they think they should surrender whenever their gold4 smart asses tell them the game is not winnable. ^^

Simple as that. Defeatism lost me more MMR than all AFKs/Trolls/Inters/Smurfs ever could.
