Ideas for Rek’Sai’s kit if it gets updated

Rek’sai is a really cool champion in league and has an interesting place in the world lore wise but even though her kit was updated not too long ago, she still seems half good and half bad in the game. If you’re good with her you can absolutely dominate the early game and feel like an unstoppable beast. But once laning phase is over and small skirmishes turn into full 5v5 team fights she struggles to have an impact. I feel like she needs just a few more changes to her kit to help even out her performance at all stages of the game.

Her passive is relatively weak compared to other champions. If you actually look at the amount of health healed it’s kind of pathetic. At level 1 it is 30 health healed over 3 seconds at max fury (one hit from any jungle monster deals more dmg.) This would be tricky to balance though so that it’s useful for healing when you’re fighting other people but not too much healing when your in the jungle. The safest thing to do would be to have it scale much higher into the late game since you’ll be fighting over objectives more than farming.

Her Q is a kind of boring dps ability that has really low base damage and really high bonus ad scaling. This requires you to build more damage (at the expense of some defense) to keep this ability relevant or it will fall off. The base damage should be increased and the scaling switched to a lower total ad scaling instead. The aoe of this ability could be slightly larger and if you hit at least two enemy champions you get a heal. So now you have more survivability in team fights if you can hit multiple people. Also maybe prey seeker can give you some movement speed toward enemy champions hit for the duration that they are revealed. It’s hard to chase people in burrowed form from just following tremors cuz you get juked really hard. Hitting prey seeker would be more rewarding on enemies during those moments.

Her W is fine although maybe when she’s burrowed she has some dmg reduction? This would make it less harsh when you get kited and add some skill expression by burrowing to take less damage from abilities like mf ult or whatever. It would make sense too because half of her body is underground.

Her E tunnel is on a base cd of 24 sec which is insane since it’s the only mobility spell in her kit. Maybe reduce it to 20 sec at rank 1 instead. Her bite currently can only be used at max fury for good dmg and at 0 fury is weaker than an auto attack. Make it deal max dmg regardless of fury with the only difference being going from physical to true dmg at 100 fury.

Her ultimate should be only dodge-able by flashes and flash like abilities. So champions like ezreal, zed, kat, etc. can dodge it without having to flash. No more dumb ekko E dodges. This way it is much more reliable to use.

Been playing a lot of rek and these changes could really help her. Do these sound op? Idk, I just want to see her in a better spot. RekSai
