Real quick question for anybody willing to answer. What happens if you buy an AP item for a MD champion? Or say like a hybrid like Yorick? If I bought nothing but MD for him would this increase the damage his abilities do? But his regular basic attack wouldn't swing for as much, right?
AP items boost damages of spells that have AP scaling (light green in ability tooltip). For Yorick, AP would boost the damage of his W, but not any of his other spells, since his other spells have AD scaling instead.
What do you mean by MD?
One reason I ask is I've bought runanns hurricane for Ryze a couple times just to see what would happen. And it's funny but he crits and fires two bolts .
