Want to get out of bronze? Read This.
We've all been there. Every challenger, every master, down to every silver and bronze. We have all been new to league, and there's no shame in being new. League has a learning curve. You have to understand how to build a champion depending on each and every individual game. You have to actually understand farming, and wave manipulation. And you have to look at choices you make as a team, which can be hard when you haven't even learned how each lane works. Being new isn't something you need to be offended by. And yes, saying new, is a polite way of saying bad.
The most COMMON mistake in low elo, is the tilt. [01:56] Enemy Double Kill!! [02:00] GG BOT LANE REPORTED
First of all, its 2:00 into the game. if you weren't in the lane, you don't know what happened. They could've had a great chance and capitalized on it, but you still have 3 more people on your team who may very well stomp their laners. No game is won or lost in the first 10:00 at low elo. In fact, most low elo games come to 45:00 baron throws and surrenders. Your attitude in low elo is whats costing you games. That "GG" mentality. A decent player will carry any bronze game just by simply knowing what the win condition is. That ALONE is so powerful, it can solo carry games.
What the hell is a win condition? I'll tell you what a win condition is good sir or madam. A win condition is the requirements your team needs to end the game with a win. Say you have a 1-3-1 comp. (Don't know what that is? That's why you're bronze.) a 1-3-1 comp is typically a control mage mid, and strong counter engage bot lane. They will keep pressure on mid as a 3 person group. And a split push top, and maybe jungler will stay in side lanes. That is when the top laner, say Tryndamere or Nasus, does not join teamfights unless they are in base or damn close to it. They should nearly always be top, or invading the jungle. The WIN CONDITION for those two is to push side lanes all the way into base as hard as they can while the ADC, Supp, and Mid all keep pressure mid. Thinking of how your team needs to win games is imperative to a victory. If your team has a lot of DPS, it may be wise to focus on the infernal and mountain drakes. If your team has tons of tanks and peel for the hyper carries, perhaps cloud and ocean drakes are better for your team. That doesn't mean avoid the other dragons, always try to maintain objective control, however occasional trading is okay. if they are all at cloud drake but you can take two towers in top lane for it, its probably a better trade.
**See that turret? CLICK IT. ** I saw it way too many times and even did it myself for a while. id roam bot lane, feed the ADC a kill and take one for myself. The adc and supp will have 40% HP and the jungler just ganked top lane. I get excited. I'm ready. I roamed specifically to stop top lane from getting first turret gold against us. Both towers half hp now, the jungler and top laner beating on the top turret, and....... You hear it... the sound of a back. Your adc, your precious DPS is backing instead of hitting the turret. The only way to win games is to kill at minimum 5 turrets, an inhib, and the nexus, or force them to surrender. You do not win games of league by getting kills. The common thought appears to be, "If i get more kills on this guy i get more gold to buy stuff." To an extent, yes. But killing the same person over and over will not help you out that much. If you're 5-0 in lane, and you can kill the veigar by looking at it. Roam. Go to a new lane, help get a kill, and STAY TO DO TURRET DAMAGE. When you roam you should be warding to prevent a counter gank. period. Push until you see the jungler or the enemy lane, and get an objective for crying out loud.
Thats so op. What a great excuse to not try right? Takes all the responsibility off you eh? What a smooth excuse to lose ;) In low elo, nothing's OP. In fact, the most op things at high elo are so useless in low elo its not even funny because it requires teamwork, it requires timing, and it requires mechanical skill, and game knowledge. Which, you dont have because you're new. Master Yi is not "op" you just haven't learned the difference between the types of CC, and you're still trying to flash his Q. Spend time on youtube watching pros, or educational streams. It may seem boring but if you actually want to learn, and stop talking about how you should be gold but your Bronze II and your teammates are impossibly heavy, you'll apply yourself. League is chaotic, ever changing, and pretty damn complicated. You're not going to make it to gold in a year. You're not going to even make silver in a year if you dont actually think about why YOU'RE LOSING GAMES. Not why your team lost you that game.
