Is this a bad way to play?

Hi there.

I've been told I play league in a rather unique / odd style.

I have literally everything keybound to my gaming mouse (spells, item abilities, summoner spells, wards etc...) at my right hand and I have my left hand controlling the camera with WASD (moving camera left, right, up, down using WASD).

I was told by my friend that it actually is a bad way to play and reduces reaction time and I could improve a lot of if I scrap playing this way.

I'm very used to it so it would take a bit to learn a new control method.

Just curious if anyone has an opinion if this is a good / bad way to play?

i play just fine with the regular lock on camera if it's too hard to move, but yeah it'd be better to learn with the keyboard, it won't be too bad to learn at all, every player starts like that and learns fairly quick, but i do agree with your friend, a mouse with keys as abilities will definetly slow your reaction time

You do you, I have a friend who does this and he is really good at it. I say keyboard is better because one hand can only do so many things at once b4 messing up...... (damn it) where as with two you can put the muscle memory into each and have less chance of messing up and ........ god, damn, it, AMYWAY. You can do it however you want, but having two hands do one task can improve gameplay, at least for me.

(for those of you who don't get it you have no hope left)

When I had a mouse with multiple buttons I made the second keybinding for my summoners skills on the mouse. Sometimes it was just inherently faster to press that when my fingers were on QWER than to move them while my thumb was essentially resting atop the buttons on my mouse. As for all your abilities, I couldn't imagine that being good for myself, but if you like it and its easy for you, play however you want.
