Silver player keeps going against Diamonds....

So my account is "Medium Sausage", I'm Silver 2 in solo queue, in norms I have more loses than I have wins (1761 wins -1796 loses) so when I play a normal game I should be expecting to play against silver - gold - maybe some low platinum players. Instead of going into a game where I feel like I'm playing against my own kind, I quickly see that I'm consistently paired up against low Diamond players, not plat, not gold, straight up Diamond players. I don't know why this is happening, I don't consider myself anywhere close to being at a Diamond level of play, but I keep going up against them. I get trashed in lane and eventually lose the game because of it. Can someone tell me why this is happening to me? Or tips to deal with these guys in game.
