True damage deal extra Dmg vs Sheilds

Personally just feels right, its meant to deal damage you cannot reduce. Being able to break shields easier with true damage would give those champions with true damage (ie Zyra Twitch Olaf KogMaw VelkozRekSai ) the extra recognition they need. The "Oh man they counter my champion in this way too" effect the enemy Blitzcrank Ekko Blitzcrank Nautilus DianaShenRiven Karma has gives the true damage champions that extra pzazz and makes them a more viable pick. Just give it like 150% damage vs Shields.

Of course with all the true damage out there, some champions have a large amount of True damage like MasterYi Chogath Ahri DariusVayneIrelia . But they are already in need of some balance changes. Riot can balance them accordingly as they already will. This change is just to give the champions with true damage a slightly greater advantage to do what their meant to do against champions that think they have some type of unbreachable defense

Nooooo, no.

True damage is already really strong. And it would make characters like Vayne, who has % health based true damage, way more powerful than they should be.

Everything needs a sort of counterplay. The counterplay to true damage is to build hp, and use shields.

The champs you listed suffer more from a lack of mobility(except RekSai ) than from lackluster true damage, especially vs shields. This would end up reducing counter play for no noticeable increase in strength for these champs outside of really niche situations, 2 of the champions need to die to even get to the true damage in their kits.

Zyra could use a part of her passive for when she is alive

Kog'Maw is actually pretty strong right now, mid or ADC

Olaf is a decent top/jungle, and is being picked support in the LCS now, riot is careful about buffing him because he can go pretty crazy if they overdo it

Vel'Koz also functions as a damage support, and does decently well mid lane due to the amount of damage and CC he can put out from a good distance away, might be a sleeper OP champ just waiting for one slight change

Twitch works well vs the right team, he doesn't have much of an escape, but he is great at both team fighting(due to his ult) and assassinating enemy squishies, turning the fight into a 4v5

Rek'Sai is already a really strong jungler, almost as good at dueling as Shyvanna, but with better ganks.

How about armor/mr don't apply to shields.
