The One Problem about the Honor System.

There's a concept known as "physical representation of success". This is evident in the slow yet rewarding climb up rankings in League of Legends and the fact that we all, far too often, check our stats on op.gg to see exactly how high our Varus winrate is. I love the new Honor system. I was able to hold a ribbon for about 1 season back in season 5 and I remember how rewarding it was. Unfortunately, lack of play and a lack of honors made that ribbon impossible for me to keep after a month. And the new Honor system has the same problem! It is impossible to see exactly WHAT one needs to do to retain the ribbon - or to rank up in honor. There is no "physical representation of success". It's like there's a floating achievement out there for 100 gamer points that just has a big freaking ? on it with no real description other than "hey, be nice buddy! I'm sure you'll get there eventually".

All I'm proposing is a counter, either to keep track of your honors or even a counter that shows exactly how much honor you need by % of honor vs games to actually rank up.

Just a thought. Not really a "OHMYGOSHIFIDONTGETHONORILLDIE" player, but I'm certainly a fan of free stuff and the higher the honor, the more the free stuff.

I'm not sure if anyone else agrees with me on this one, but I'd love to hear your thoughts and maybe get this idea up to Rito.

Love you all and Love you riot for this amazing game.

Rito already stated they don't want to show it because "We didn't want to anchor people on the "grind" to honor levels. By not having progress indicators, we wanted to root the reinforcement for being sportsmanlike on the feedback you get from other players (the honors), not any artificial motivation from being "close to the next level". " (sic).
