I swear players have gotten worse/more toxic

How is it that in March/April I carried my way to gold in 3 days, but in August I win one game in 20? These kids don't even want to be carried, and then it's your fault they don't understand their roles (every role is "I KILL STUFF!"). What is with your matchmaking system, Riot?
