Mid roaming advice
If I roam as a mid laner, is my role to feed off other lanes or help snowball teammates by giving them the kills? Or is it dependent how your lane is going? Asking as a current fizz player

That depends on your carryability of the game. If you're playing into 2 heavy bruises and a tank supp (riven top, Jax jg, alistar supp, for example), it can be very tricky to carry as fizz since you lack a lot of assassination power on those carries. If your top laner/jungler is also a bruiser carry then it can definitely be worth to donate that gold. Meanwhile, if the enemy has low damage except that nice immobile jinx, you take that gold and blow her out of the water for the rest of the game. It's all dependent.
However, never leave the gold on the table. If it's questionable if the ally will get it before someone escapes, take the kill. Always better than missing out on gold on everyone.
Since you're fizz just take the kills unless you're already fed.
Well that depends. Are you 10/0 and your ally is 0/5? Might not hurt to let them get some shut down gold and catch up. Are you both 0/0? First come first serve. It's better if the whole team is equally strong instead of having one person going 40/0 and everyone else is under 2 kills cause then if you get killed your team's gonna get smashed.
