Smurfs chasing newcomers from League

I am an avid admirer of this game, and because of this I recommend the game to a lot of my friends. I recently starting playing league less than a year ago. There were the occasional smurfs and that was acceptable when leveling up because if provided a bit more of a challenge. I have recently got a few of my friends to join the game and give it a go.

It is near impossible for them to learn the game because in a game that they join it is about 8/10 people who are established smurfs and they get absolutely dominated. They are easily dissuaded therefore really cant continue playing, it is difficult for them to level up and play in general because of the amount of smurfs. I love this game and have been level 30 for a while, but in the short time from when I started to now it is clear that the servers have been bombarded by smurfs who are ruining the game experience for the newcomers to League. It has been suggested that the MMR will somehow fix this issue after time, but I can tell you from what I've heard from my friends that they are wanting to quit within very few games into League. I am not reporting this for a minor number, I have had numerous friends try the game now and none of them last more than 2 weeks.

I am reporting this because i love the game and love to see it grow and I feel like it cannot continue to grow if all the new players are being dominated by smurfs on a daily. My leveling up was a great experience and taught me a lot about the game, right now its just newcomers getting owned while the majority of players who are smurfs just level up their accounts. It's sad that people cannot even learn the game without being dissuaded because of these smurfs. I just really do not approve and hope for a swift solution.

Actually, there's quite a few of us like me (But technically because i'm bronze i'm not really a smurf but more of an ALT account) who actually befriend new players and teach them what to do.

And no, it's not like because I'm a level 30 in low level, i'm rofflestomping people. NO. Actually Low level PVP is just as challenging** if not harder than bronze PVP sometimes. **

I also made friends with someone who just joined, he favors support and I already pushed him into PVP he's learning a lot faster than I ever did and I'm a little jealous.

Sometimes I even forget he's new till he does something pretty bad.

But there's sadly only so much I could teach the guy.. and he's such a fast learner.

It's not really smurfs who ruin it for new people.

#It's the banned players who make new accounts in my opinion.

Smurfs may be good, but they can offer teaching, While banned players are smurfs/alts who are Toxic as..

I'll tell you a story.

Once upon a time there were pro players but because the game itself was so unbearable to play, they decided to become toxic instead. To combat toxicity, riot games banned the pro players. They then put no safeguards into place regarding the amount of accts one can own so the pro players decided it would be fun to try to climb back to where they initially were. These players are smurfs. Sorry that they ruin your experience.

Not our fault match making is trash and the que times are long in high elo. i'm not gonna bother tryna bring back a 53% win rate account to climb on i'd prefer to create a smurf and play to get to the same division with 70% win rate and climb faster. + i prefer playing more than 3 games in a 3hour span time and not waste 45mins of that time in QUe because hurr durr dynamicQue. All you can do is get a friend that is also a smurf(or level30)and help you level up faster and teach you the game nothing more. + smurfs usually match vs other smurfs (at least real smurfs not gold/silver/bronze smurfs) so you gonna see em like once then never again cause the matchmaking is gonna push them into smurf games

Smurfs aren't new. There isn't a greater amount of them now then there was when you were new and leveling up. You'll get games where everybody is a smurf and you'll get games where only a few people are. Just have to deal with it and either stick it out or quit. All games have a learning curve and eventually they'll get better and not get as dominated by the smurfs.

Just fyi Smurfs gonna end up playing with other smurfs according to Riot as long as your friends aren't going crazy scores in games while playing with the smurfs which I assume it's unlikely to happen they will soon be playing with those real starters and maybe bronze 5 0lps

This is how it is with EVERY pvp game except when they are brand new. I've never played a pvp game where this wasn't the case.
