Teleport

So I wanted to a talk a little about . Earlier I was reading CaptainMårvelous's excellent post about ADC's and reading through the discussion below. I forget who but someone mentioned something about Black Market Brawlers Items and AP items, so I too a look here http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Market_Brawlers

Among many of the cool and interesting items present for the Brawlers mode is the teleport upgrade available for boots. Now I know that teleport isn't a huge problem in the game right now but, when was the last time you ever saw a toplaner take a summoner that wasn't . Sometimes flash is replaced with , but it is almost always .

I've had many games where I or the other toplaner would have an early fight in toplane, someone dies. Then instantly teleports back to lane. They then farm back up and miss no minions or they kill the other toplaner who was a bit greedy and stuck around too long. Other shenanigans that typically happen are a fight breaks out in bot and instantly everyone and their dog want a piece of action. This isn't inherently a problem but come on, there is no need for a 5v5 team fight in botlane by the 10 minute mark.

So why talk about the teleport upgrade for the boots? I think it would make a good change from teleport being a summoner spell. It would delay teleporting back to lane or surprise ganking other lanes till a little later in the game. This means that killing someone in lane or getting them low is more than just "Ha HA I got your teleport!" and that is it. It would allow those to mean more, although I do realize snowballing is a problem currently. The change would compensate that chance of earlier snowballing by allowing players the option of having a real secondary summoner. Lastly it would allow anyone on the team to have teleport.

This is just an idea I had. Riot doesn't tend to just change things like summoner spells ever but I would be interested to know what your opinions towards a change like this could be. Would this be a good idea? Or is there a better idea.
