Match Time

Hello Everybody, So after about three years I have decided to come back to play seeing as League of Legends has been gaining in popularity. I used to play in 2012 on an old account at which I lost sadly. One of the biggest problems with the game I has was how long the games lasted. Back in 2012 I remember the games lasting at least 40 minutes but now the games on an average I see last for 30 minutes at the most. I really liked that it lasted long since we would have these really intense fights and I would get the feeling of teamwork and skill. Winning as I remembered it was all on how the team working together but now its just one person getting over leveled than everybody else and storming the base in two seconds. What happened to all that? I currently still love the game and I have no problem with it now. I just wish that matches lasted longer.
