The Issue Isn't Skarner's Numbers

As I see it, the real issue is his up-front chain CC that's available via his E and R. The "Quality of Life" buff of moving the stacking stun from Skarner's passive to an instantly triggered E gave Skarner an easy instant 2.75 second CC. The previous Skarner didn't have this issue because of his stacking mechanic and the ultimate's interaction with the stacks. In addition, the E crystal venom proc CDR changes made this even more of an issue because Skarner can now instantly access a 2.75 second UNINTERRUPTED hard cc chain and then very quickly follow it up with another second of CC only 1 second later with max CDR (now 2 second after the nerf). That's not a fighter mechanic, nor is it a juggernaut mechanic, and that is why we're having issues with Skarner's numbers.

The numbers hot-fix may work for now, but do our favorite purple scorpion a favor and re-visit his E-R interaction soon so you can fix his playstyle (and quite possibly revert most of the hot-fix nerfs without making him OP again).
