Honestly what is the ranked system
The way this thing is designed is so bad, a game is typically based off of MMR, so when you have let's say gold 3 MMR like 1550, and your paired with a team they won't be very similar to you, the system tries to slowly lower the MMR average of the team to compensate, BUT HONESTLY THATS FUCKING RETARDED. (yea its annoying, downvote if your Christian boards is so toxic)
so let's say the system pulls someone like idk plat 1 out of its ass and put it on your team, well now your MMR is very high, so to compensate it will match you with say an S1?

so this S1 player might be very good probably good for gold, but the fact is, the system now will pair you with people that are way above you to compensate for the MMR on their team, that's not right....you may be good but when you're paired with people who are clearly better than you, you have little chance, besides; why the fuck are people expected to climb (besides in promos) against people that are significantly better? If you want a real reason why the season is so toxic, its because of the ranked system. Let me explain:
Between 2015-2017 league has had a FUCKING MASSIVE influx of players So what happens when a game that typically takes 2-4 years to be around plat-dimond has a massive influx after a "Dry" period?
Bad ranked matchmaking, people who have played for a massive period of time will be high up, that's good ok.
but what about the "average" elo(s)? plat-silver?
well, a massive influx of still semi new players results in a larger low-level player base.
inhibiting high lvl play. Yet, with a large group, you would think ranked should be semi balanced? No with everyone learning and playing at a different pace (not counting the people who play norms) most 1 year players will be high bronze low silver with the time it takes to lvl get runes ect. 2-3 year players tend to hit low gold but with such big differences why is it a problem. Smurfing is one, it makes the MMR system actually helpful 1:4 times
and the fact that the MMR system is so touchy in order to "Stop" smurfing, it results in any minor win streak GREATLY inflating your actual skill sticking you with high people to try and balance it out.
But in all honesty, i think the system should go off of like 1-2 division differences (gold 1 with gold 2 and plat 5) people WILL be represented by their own skill and not a seemingly luck based system.
