Garen Jungle
Hey LOL community,
Ever since the juggernaut patch about a month ago I've been thinking about what damage Garen
could cause in the jungle. There are a few factors I think could make him pretty dangerous. I know there will be lots of objections, but hear me dangerous enemy champion (not as restricted by being in top lane, for example)
2) Although his early game would be slower than some (monster clearing isn't fast at a low level), he can still do it. Also, mid game he's great at taking out jungle monsters, and could continue taking buffs fast(!) throughout the rest of the game
3) Although his engage abilities are relatively poor (decisive strike being the only one), with the right items, I think he could make some deadly ganks. Here's the order I'm thinking...
Skirmisher's Saber,
boots of speed,
Warrior enchainment (for Skirmisher; smite enemy champions right before your first hit),
Youmuu's Ghostblade (for engage and damage, cool down reduct (to spam abilities); spam the active),
Boots of swiftness (for extra engage and reduced slows),
Deadman's Plate (for armor, engage, damage, movement),
Spirit Visage (for magic resistance, health, health regain, and cool down reduct), and finally
Infinity Edge (for lots of crit and damage, to carry the team to victory of course :P).
4) He's got lots of health and by the time the ganks start rolling out, he'll have health regain as well, healing as he makes his way from lane to lane (also no manna, so lots of sustain there). Also, by level 6, enemies will have a hard time getting away from Demacian Justice (if their low health at all, after a decisive strike and judgement they're in big trouble, especially if Youmuus is activated and you smite them with Skirmisher Saber)
5) Here's the jungle monster order: froggy (leash) (smite it to conserve health), turtle-bug (in the river) (time to regain health with Garen's passive), blue (smite it) (use health potion after), wolves (use health potion after), 2nd turtle-bug (to regain health), birds, recall to base, pick up items, red (smite), golems, repeat...
6) Note: chasing champs would be easier because judgement passes through minions
I would really appreciate advice and comments. I'm trying to think outside the box here and make an unconventional approach work.
Sincerely, Amokiir
