Low elo, Why do you adc?

Ive been trying to see how far adc can get me. Ive reached gold so far. And half of your supports suck ass.

Some of them think they can just sit in lane do nothing all day (this is honestly what I prefer now though).

And others like nautilis and blitzcrank think they are super tanks at level 1 and do all sorts of dumb shit.

Theyll peel the useless enemy support instead of the adc, mage, tank, sitting on your face with their thighs straddling your ears and mouth.

And fuckinggg shit, they wont let you CS if you fucking paid them. I can get 90+ cs at 10 minutes if the support sits down like a good little boy. But no they just wanna keep diving and making useless, risky, and stupid plays.

Im just curious, how do some of you deal with this stupidity?

I had a brand Brand stand in Caitlyn 's traps constantly to "get rid of them" and ended up dying at level 2.

Ive had numerous threshes who just fuckin suck at landing their q's and cant peel for shit. I do better in lane without a support than with one.

I...think you may have a row of bad luck with supports or you may need to communicate with your support a bit more. The ones I've had usually just sit and poke the enemy while I farm. If any go in, I try to follow up with them for some damage and if I think it's a bad play ping them back. Supports can't tell what you want to do giving your "kiting" the enemy.

The real big problem, like you said, is sitting in lane doing nothing. This is somewhat conditioning by many ADCs whining "OMG, let me farm, stop pushing the wave D: OMG YOU KEEP TAKING MY KILLS." so it's better to follow what they do instead of hampering their beautiful gold piles. Sure some do epicly stupid plays, however they might have thought "Oh, I see an opportunity to poke/trade, maybe they can follow up."

There's this weird sort of disconnect with a lot of bot laners where it's sort of a distrust that the one wants to screw over the other. As for landing skillshots, sorry they're not Madlife landing those amazing epic hooks from across the map bringing in the entire team to give you that LCS pro treatment. I can safely say I miss ~40% of my snares as Lux, but the ones I do land we take advantage of.

Humans are prone to error, supports get it rough by having to be ward bots and keeping people alive/safe, while you might think it's easy to make sure you get kills, silently we are more like

Especially when playing someone like Nami, Soraka, or Sona.

(At least I think so, trying to keep track of everyone's health/mana/cooldowns and positions gets hectic during teamfights)

Why do you solo q ADC if you can't deal with random supports?

Git gud

I thought you claimed you were gold?

That doesn't happen in gold lol.

Not only that, I've now witnessed you claiming you are three separate ranks?

So which is it?

Are you gold? Are you plat? Are you diamond?

Your knowledge doesn't say you're any of those.

Don't blame other people for your bad performance if you truly want to get better.

We all get bad players. I'm a support main, and I have more than my fair share of ADCs who can't kite, who don't realize they aren't frontline tanks, or who barely do more damage than Janna. Some of them can't even farm. Follow up? What follow up? As for focus, too many of them get distracted by Sona's light show. In the cases where focusing a support is warranted, like against a Soraka for example, they go way overboard and dive for her.

It's a learning experience, and you need to tailor how you play in anticipation for those sorts of bumps in the road. If I have an ADC who does all of those things I look to the rest of the map and pray. Luckily as many bad ADCs I get, I normally am facing ones just as clueless. Low ELO ADCs are like babies with a gun honestly.

The one that really just drives me nuts, is that they never, ever freeze the wave in Silver, and rarely in Gold. Caitlyns are the worst at pushing the lane in my experience. This gives me anxiety at the earlier levels because the enemy can farm safely under tower while we are put at a high risk of getting killed from a gank. I've pretty much given up on expecting my ADC to use their trinket, and luckily building Sightstone first works for every support. If you're always pushing, stop it.

If I can carry these sorts of people to mid game as support, you can do the same with the damage you're provided. Especially since this game is built around damage. I say mid game because usually if my ADC makes it to mid game with decent farm, and little to no deaths, we have a fighting chance with the rest of the team.

You want to stay away from champions like Vayne or Caitlyn because those champions need to be babysat. Lucian is a good pick if you want to become self reliant because of his peel. Another great one that's consistent is Jinx. Ashe, Kog'maw, and Miss Fortune are pretty good pick as well. All you need to do is stay alive and farm. Kills are a perk, but be aware when your jungler is coming to gank. An ADC's only job is to scale, and farm is the easiest way to independently do that. When your lane partner paints you into a corner always fall back to the basics. It sucks being bullied under tower, but sometimes you need to make it work in tough situations.

If you're getting better, you will progress.

I was a diamond top laner, dropped down to gold cause took a long break and fell off (had a job too so).. One day I decided I wanted to climb back to the top (I dropped to Gold4 now im Plat 4 so making my way back again) I actually played ADC, because even though I'm not an ADC main, it so damn easy to carry because everyone doesnt know how to lane correctly, and a fed ADC is scary man. If you know how to kite correctly and know when and how to get damage in. You can 1v4 the game, not 1v5, but 1v4 yeah (if one of their member is super retarded, thats all you need to win in low elo).

Basically in laning phase in low elo I was always 80-100 CS up after 25mins, and maybe 1-4 kills ahead.

As someone most comfortable in the bot lane, (ADC Tris, Zil Supp), communication is basically key. You have to tell them (not YELL AT THEM) to play passive a bit, or to hook them at this certain time.

From a supp point of view, it's really hard already to control cs because I've had some adcs just become toxic in 2 seconds because of Zil's Q landing on a minion. And even though I suck at Blitz and Thresh and Naut, they are tanky early on, so just let them go in for the hook and if they miss, then they block the counter :////

In bronze, it's the worst.

you pick a self sufficient adc and just 1v3 the lane.
