The playstyle of Nasus is toxic

Nasus starts off the game farming. You bully him and one of two things happen:

  1. You win lane by yourself. You get ahead and destroy top lane first tower, but you still have to sit your ass top lane and baby sit that Nasus. If you help your team somewhere else bot lane, then you come back to find a nasus with 500 stacks and 2 towers missing. It seems like you don't really get to play the game. You don't get to help your team, get objectives, or much of anything besides staying top and making sure that Nasus is bullied enough to at least have a manageable stack count.

  2. You lose lane by either getting ganked or Nasus using his suprisingly high early game damage. Now you are behind, Nasus has 250 stacks by 10 minutes and you lose tower. Now what do you do? You sit your ass top lane with the jungle or whoever else and bully that Nasus so he does not get any more stacks. But guess what, he does and now he is bot pushing. In teamfights he just ults, walks over to anyone on your team and two shots them in under 3 seconds.

Both paths are frusturating and seem to have no counterplay. All the Nasus's team has to do is wait for someone to go over and greet Nasus, then they can fight or get objectives. Poor ADCs get two shot and what can you do about it? Spend all your CC on one tank while the enemy team demolish you.

I know I am not too good at this game, but does anyone else think Nasus is super toxic?

I never needed to babysit nasus that long..life is too short for that shit if early game isn't enough to shut him down ur team collapsing on him will kill him and u can use the time he greeds for stacks to take objectives since they'll be missing one person in team

if ur team can't stop nasus together they kinda deserved to lose

The same could be said about a lot of champs, esp marksman tops

{quoted} You get ahead and destroy top lane first tower, but you still have to sit your ass top lane and baby sit that Nasus.

You should be pushing mid with your team; 5 can push against 4 faster than Nasus can push against 0. Or you should gank him as a team and then push mid. Either way, the last thing you should do is try to match Nasus. It either won't work or your power is better spent elsewhere.

But you are correct in saying Nasus should be changed. Fortunately, he's quite weak so he's not really harming the game, but it is obnoxious to play with him and also against him.

Any game I've played against him isn't too bad. Most the time I've picked Rene and take tower in ten minutes leave lane for a minute or two come back top and kill him again. Any other champ I've played is a coin flip sometimes. Malphite does fine if you manage your mana. Sucks playing squishy bruisers with no form of healing like Jax sometimes. Only Ranged champs I've found work well is Teemo and Quinn. I assume Kennen does well tbut I've never played him. As always there are options out there you just have to practice and you'll find that Nasus isn't that hard to shut down in the early game. You won't always win but then it'd be unfair if you could for Nasus players.
