Flex Queue Matchmaking

I am a Gold 4 player in North America. For my placements in Flex Queue, I was put in Silver 1. I have just played a game where the enemy's mmr was 220 points higher than ours. Our highest elo player was a platinum 5, while they had a diamond 4 and a diamond 5. This was very unfair, because they are almost garunteed the win with 2 players way better than all of ours. I am trying to climb, but I struggle when against players that are way better than me and my teammates. Riot, please fix this, as it is very unfair and ruins the competitive integrity of games.
