Do you ever get called toxic for giving constructive criticism?

So a few games ago my team had a Sivir who kept getting caught 3-4 times in the mid-game because the enemy had a 3 man premade and always hide in bushes and flash jumped her. I told her to stay with us when the enemy is missing and our Thresh to buy a Ruby Sightstone but they told me I was "toxic" and "stop bossing us around." I never went into an argument with them but they started telling the enemy to 9x report me because I was toxic and Thresh was spamming surrender vote. Eventually we lost the game because both of them got tilted and started to not care and got caught out again.
