Is it just me, or did the recent re-work of the assassins make some champs who were already powerful to begin with, even more powerful?

It's not just you, but there's also a fairly significantly sized school of thought that says that assassins got the crap nerfed out of them.
Probably means that they're the closest thing to balanced they've been in awhile, and that's pretty good considering assassins are an inherently un-balanceable class.
Yupp. Kha'zix with a bruiser build is now broken with the isolated q having a 2 second CD when evolved. However, most of the main reworks have been made to scale more so into late game than just get a kill or two and snowball out of control given the players experience and game knowledge.
