Support tree allow you to place 2 pink wards

When I look across the 3 mastery trees in lol I see as the capstones ( the highest perk in the tree) I see in the offense tree havoc ( 3% increased damage) and in the tank tree tenacious ( reduces crowd control effects by 15%). Both of these seem to fit the tree, offensive champs like the increased damage and defensive champs like the reduced crowd control effects. Then there is the utility tree, wanderer ( 5% move speed while out of combat) and I think that this perk is basically useless compared to the other two. The utility tree which is mostly used by supports I think should have a capstone that allows for them to have 2 pink wards on the map at the same time this will allow supports to ward more and have them be able to impact the Vision game more then people that don't take as many mastery points in the utility tree.

Maybe increased ward duration would work though. That would actually stop supports from gimping themselves as it makes vision cost less gold over time.

item 3117 are by far the most popular boot option on supports, so I wouldn't undervalue out-of-combat mobility. The other issue here is that vision is the only thing out there more valuable than mobility, to the extent where supports will cripple themselves if it means getting just a bit more vision than their opponent (see Seasons 2 and 3, where the full build for a support was a couple of gold generation items and literally dozens of green/pink wards). Pink wards are especially valuable now due to their rarity, so implementing a mastery that allowed supports to have literally twice the pink wards they can have now would make every support, including full tank supports, fully spec into utility just for that mastery.

Maybe replace vampirism with a ward modifier other than range.

Only problem is with a mastery like that you HAVE to go utility as support. Otherwise the other support will way outdo you in vision.

You know usually people make these kind of suggestions that are often way off in right field and don't make any sense, but for once I can actually say yeah that would make perfect sense.

I mean, as a support you can already ward like crazy, and the opponents can find your pink wards so except for duration they aren't that much better than regular wards (plus you need to buy them and can't just use a sight stone).

So I don't see why not. Of course you would still have to use the gold for those pink wards and it makes your sight stone rather pointless because you really can only place one more ward after the two pinks.

I actually enjoy NOT being pigeonholed into the support masteries as a support, I play a 0/14/16 split tanky nami with tank runes (which, btw, is a Kalistas best friend) because the support milestone isn't that interesting and the mid tier defensive masteries are awesome. In fact, I've played a 21/9/0 Lulu support with no gold generation item and even if it takes a bit longer to ramp into that sightstone, is a viable way to play and pretty fun.

If the support masteries somehow improved your vision you would be forced into them, the same way you're forced into a sightstone.

Nty because I love ms as a support, and it would be useless late game.
