Id pay 4500 gold to get some defensive items worth 3300 gold

Seriously damage already scales better but we dont even have the option for good defenses and like unlike adcs and mages when you are a melee champion without access to good defesnes you cant just build full damage be effective while crying that the enemy survives your damage too well or you dont have good enough defensive item when what you want is damage items with defense not defensive items.
