Who should I buy Skarner or Rek sai?

I have played both before due to freeplay and I like both of them.

So I need your opinion.

I would say rek since he has good early ganks and good early damage. the only down side is that he falls out late but if u get a cinderhulk on him he still has gread early dmg and can scale well into late game.
