Before patch 7.22 I used to be able to rake up 1100 plus ip in around 10 games maybe even more than that counting the first victory boost, now in order to get any sort of reward for my time (and tilt) i have to play 10 plus games and IF im lucky it willl be enough to level up and get a ramdom stupid capsule. The past 2 levels ive gotten 2 caps with 745 BE.....for the amount of games i played thats literaly nothing, i started playing from 10 pm and just stoped now at 9:47 am, played about 25-30 games for bs, oh and did i mention that to get any exp worth your time you have to win the match? cuase you do. Lose and you get barely half. Id have enough IP by now to buy the champs i want if it wasent for this garbage and over all the tilt dosent match the reward and feels more like a shore to level up rather than actual fun.

Anyway thats my opinion on it, your entitled to your own or it might just be my luck but on top of all the toxic bs , the tilt and now being forced to level up to get shitty rewards? f that. if enything id say this is so people get inpatient end buy rp. F that.

It's a scam dude. I posted this on another post.

Of course it's a scam. Make progress extremly slow so you just become impatient to either A) Buy boosts or B) Just buy RP. This new system might be good for new players/smurfs but for people who have all the champs already, it's just worthless.

the uptdate was meant for people who had a lot of ip but i wasnt one of them im broke af i dont even have half the champions. long story short im kinda screwed. it really sucks cuz i love collecting limited edition items.

I feel like this new reward system only works for players that already have all of most of the champs. I just opened my first level up chest and it contained 3 champ shards. That means if the new champ were released today, I'd reroll those shards into a guaranteed new champ permanent. How newer players (ie only been playing for a couple of seasons) are going to get champs I sincerely do not know...

It's gonna be so much harder to farm up to buy the champs... Wtf, Dota2 unlocks all the champs for everyone but Riot is too greedy to do that....

watchu talkin bout? lol. I don't care much for the update but I'm a longterm player and got the most out of the rewards so I'm satisfied, was given 100k BE, (epic) omega squad fizz skin, rune enthusiast ward skin and the Conqueror of the League' emote. TBH I think they should add more things for us to spend our BE and it does seem like it will take a while to buy all of the champions for players, having to level to 100 to afford it (i think) but other than that I like the leveling, gives another goal to work towards rather than the LAME quests/missions they hand out

And this is when the Riot salesman nudges you towards the exp boosts in the shop. Honestly all they are doing in season 8 is finding ways to force players to buy with money the things they either used to earn for free relatively easily or things they no longer used like exp boosts/runepages. Give a game company an inch and they will take every last penny from you.
