Nidalee Should be ENERGY Dependent NOT MANA Dependent
A: It makes sense from a roleplaying standpoint in that Nidalee is a physical beast and her abilities remind one more of hunter/physical being with special 'natural' abilities than a sorceress.
B: Rarely, if ever is there a reason to pick Nidalee over Lee Sin in the Jungle. Both have very similar kits but Lee isn't mana dependent, is tanker, and easier to land skill shots with + a guaranteed wall hop as opposed to Nid's pounce and pray you don't hit a shadow/boundary line/tree.
C: Nidalee's gameplay should focus on capitalizing on successfully landed spear/pounce combos. With her dependency on mana this becomes more of a spear, spear, spear.... wait mana region.... spear spear spear... wait mana region/build mana regen item (which HURTS HER KIT because you sacrifice tankiness making your pounce WEAKER). Instead Nid should be able to throw maybe 2 or 3 spears rather in succession and perhaps have a long cool down such as 20 seconds to recharge this skill. This would play to her kit more of taking advantage of a landed skill shot while following up and having a distinct advantage against Lee Sin (firing 2 or 3 spears back to back).
Thoughts? Suggestions to other ways we can make Nid more relevant in the jungle?
