Detailed Description of Abilities

Why is it made so difficult to get out of game detailed descriptions on abilities? I can understand not wanting to overwhelm new players, but you should be able to toggle viewing detailed ability descriptions in the client. We shouldn't have to resort to using 3rd party websites to look at what each ability actually does. Hell, if anything the client version of the detailed abilities should include more details than the in game descriptions. Such as scaling factors and range if applicable.
