Why does league not have a ranked loss prevention method?
Or do they, if so I'm not aware? I have lost several games recently due to early game disconnects, as I'm sure we all have. Why does riot not implement a loss prevention system where, if someone is disconnected for too long you are allowed to leave and the game does not make you lose lp. Alternatively you lose half lp or at minimum you lose lp but the loss doesn't show on your record. I get frustrated when I lose lp because someone with dial-up tries to play ranked, or someone who knew they had to leave tries to play ranked. I feel there is a large desire for this kind of thing, I mean who wouldn't want a system that _doesn't punish you for things outside of your control _? Other MOBAS already have similar things in place I believe, DOTA, for example, has a system where if someone is gone for a certain period you can leave with no punishment and the game essentially doesn't count, and the leaver gets put in queue with other leavers so they have a bad time. This isn't a complaint, merely a question as to why something that I believe would be very beneficial to the entire league community hasn't been added to ranked, the queue that "matters".
