The problem with "class rework"

Okay maybe you guys gonna hate me for saying this, but hear me out (I'm in bronze so maybe I'm not really have the authority to say this but still). I love the class update, the Marksman was great, the Mage was great, they gave those champs a lot more personality and unique playstyle, and the items change is amazing. I think what they did is amazing (except for the Juggernaut, sometimes I still pretend that the "Juggernaut update" doesn't exist). But there are many people out there hate the updates, they think that Riot ruined their favourite champs. Maybe that's your opinions, but I think that is not quiet correct. It's not what Riot changed, it's what they did after that. They update and create many more unique and fun playstyle, but they don't know how to balance them. They destroy their own updates for the sake of "balance", yes maybe a lot of champs after the update became OP, but even then embrace their uniqueness, don't kill them, change the number or something, don't make them unplayable. Ex:Malzahar, He is suppose to counter the assassin or burst mage like Yasuo or Kat, but the nerfs make him almost unplayable in mid and support role. I mean come'on Riot, come'on

Can't make an omelette without breaking a few spines.

Honestly I thought it was hilarious when Malz could solo dragons with his minions shortly after the update.
