I don’t understand what riot wants me to do

I just lost my promos series and I don’t know how riot expects me to ever win them. I was doing good and put my laner and they enemy jungler behind pretty early on but my mid and jg decided to come top lane and just STAND STILL to allow the enemy jungler and top laner to get a triple kill and erase all the work I did. We lost because they just snowballed out of control. I don’t understand what more riots wants me to do after I get a lead, put multiple people on the enemy team behind, and apply pressure to the map. I tried my hardest and a couple of people how admitted that they have no interest in winning the game screwed me over. I can’t continue playing a game where I feel like I have no control over if my team wins or loses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
