Kinda hard to learn new champion right now. You cant really learn much vs bots, cuz well, they're bots.

And then you have normal draft. Problem 1 with normals(for me at least) I have to wait between 15-30 minutes to get a pop. Problem 2, everyone is trying to get lvl 6-7 masteries on their main. So yeah, you end up playing a champion you dont know vs someone thats playing his main, it sucks and you feed lol.

I still do it, thats the only way to learn a champ.

Absolutely, just play normals and maybe give your team a heads up in champ select or when the game starts so they don't expect any LCSBIGPLAYS from you. If they start to get toxic then just mute them all and work on improving.

Yes. Thats the only way to learn. From your mistakes.

This is why we need a sandbox mode

Play customs or bots or coop ( Nobody will judge you as harshly in those games )

It's ok to feed while learning, but not in ranked. Try to play in Normals if your MMR in Normals is lower than in Ranked, or try to get a Smurf.

he has a low skill floor (easy to learn, hard to master) but it's totally fine to feed a few games

Learning a new champion at the present moment may be tough, but taking them in normals shouldn't be an issue.

I wouldn't recommend Lee Sin in general as a champion. He is one of the higher skill cap champions in the game AND he also drops off pretty hard even if he gets kills. It is one of the reasons he is a "good" champion with a stupidly low win rate, because everyone tries to learn him and stinks with him. And then when you get decent with him even if you play him well you can still lose if the game drags on.

I don't see much reward in learning high skill cap champions that drop-off. Might as well learn high skill cap champions that DON'T drop off like Azir.

A sand box mode always a good way to learn quickly, but some reason they do not make one...
