Just missed another pick window. The Client pops up when a match is found but it does not for when it's your turn to lock in a champion. Seems like an easy fix. I don't use sound in the client because I find it irritating as I am often listening to music.

That also sounds like an easy fix. Turn off Music, turn on SFX.
Even if you do listen to the music, the sound for your turn isn't that distinguishable or different. Which really sucks
