The Blame Game (My Silver V Story)

I was playing a ranked match as Jungle Warwick, and towards the end I was attacked by a Wukong for being a noob and making us lose. Eventually Tristana joined in, and they both had one liners about how I was a noob. They didn't really rage at me, but it's surprising how delusional these guys are.

Wukong blamed me for one thing, guaranteeing a kill on enemy Leona with my WW ult instead of getting enemy Caitlyn. He also blamed me for smiting a siege minion. Come on guys. It's Silver V. People make these kinds of mistakes. At the end, while me and Diana took the 5th dragon, Morgana and Tristana got caught out, killed by cait and enemy amumu. Wukong tried to B, but couldn't go back to our base until he could take care of enemy Gnar.

**Of course, when the game ended Wukong called me a Pupwick and left without a goodbye. **

Just by looking at the stats, I had the most gold. That doesn't really mean much. However, I had more assists than my team but the support, and more kills than Wukong or Tristana. Again, that doesn't really mean much. However, I purchased more wards than everyone else combined, placed more wards than everyone but the supports. I also destroyed more wards than anyone. I also took the most damage, 15k more than Wukong, 30k more than everyone else on my team. I also healed more damage than everyone else combined, at 34k.

I was there when we took 4 dragons, 1 dragon going to the enemy team. I also did the 2nd least damage to champions, but what do you expect of the only tank? Also funnily enough, I killed less minions than everyone else even the supports. I just counterjungled 17 of their creeps, and took 129 of our jungle.

**I admit it. I made classic Low Elo mistakes. My build wasn't optimized. My ganks were sub-optimal. I died too much (although equal to or less than anyone else on my team). I ulted the wrong people a few times. I smited siege minions. However, that does not mean you can call me a noob, especially when you couldn't perform any better. You could even argue that I was MVP on my team. **

P.S. Wukong, nice Sunfire Cape P.S.S. I like that frozen heart too.

Real advice: Start looking for your mistakes and attempt to fix them. If you were doing that you wouldn't be at near Bronze after over 600 games. You will only improve when you do that, just playing will only yield so much if you're not actively trying to improve.

Pretty much what Cyrus says.

Also, Dunning-Kruger is strong in the Bronze/Silver. I was playing a Leona support game and, while I did make a some mistakes, my ADC was playing like absolute garbage... and was blaming me solely for losing bot lane.

Not saying I didn't have my part in losing bot lane, but the ADC certainly wasn't trying to win bot lane (let alone the game) with the way s/he was playing.

Just focus on you, learn how to shot-call (all caps is not a good method), and you'll eventually climb up.

I was in Bronze V for over a year, and now I'm in Gold V after only 3-4 months worth of playing (took a 6 month break not all that long ago) while looking for (and trying to correct) my own mistakes.
