She seems really good now. I put one point in W and Q, then max E first. E is amazing, and I think it's what makes soraka really damn good. She also racks up assists like crazy. Had 37 assists in one game as soraka in ranked. Was fun.
All I know is that a Soraka with full HP/5 runes is the most fucking annoying champion to lane against in the game.
I love soraka support, people complain about her E and how people just walk out before her root but you can't deny the initial damage is good and the aoe silence hurts so many assassins. I personally think soraka is really good right now but people don't understand how to play her atm. she has some of the best harass early game imo just keep spamming E for days doing that initial damage and zoning them from engaging on you.
Her E sucks bigtime.... you can walk out of it 11 times out of 4.

I've never liked having a support Soraka.
The reason being is you have no lane pressure with a Soraka. As an adc you have to harrass and last hit rather than relying on your support to focus on harass and zoning. With soraka you do the bulk of the work, with her topping you off to let you do so. That is just so radically different than all the other supports that it just feels strange.
Yes her skills have changed and her silence field is nice, but a thresh or nami or braum or even blitz support can provide so much more pressure in lane, as well as usefulness when ganked or when in a simple 2v2.
