One thing the tank update missed

In their efforts not to break an entire class with a class update like every update before, Riot only reworked 3 champions for the most recent one, but changed most defensive items. What they missed is the need to add additional armor/mr scaling to tank abilities to compensate for the loss of health.

Such a change would bring the needed strength back to top lane tanks without removing Riot's intent of making items defensive weaker against the opposite damage type. And it would also have the added benefit of not giving juggernauts, who already have in-kit offense stats and sustain to offset and nerfs to defensive items, a buff intended for vanguards.

(There is one example, Malphite, who was given a buff to his armor scaling to compensate for his lowered shield)
