@Meddler - Season 7 Balance

Hey Meddler, when Season 7 lands and the changes start fleshing out, can you guys at Riot take a more directed approach towards balancing the problematic changes and not the champions that have inadvertently gotten really strong from them? Balancing champions around the existence of items and game elements they use creates a dependency issue, and when the item or game element is finally nerfed or removed, that champion is left in a vacuum with stats that can't function without those elements. So please, I beg you, nerf items/game elements after massive changes, not the champions. If the champions were never a problem before the item/element came into being or got changed, chances are the champion is not the problem.
