Everyone gets shoved lower with the soft reset...

For Bronzies nothing changes pretty much. After all you can't sink lower.

For High MMR not much changes either, as there still is a limit to how far you can sink within the soft reset as it is not a TOTAL reset.

But what for those in between? Especially those that have just crawled out of the hellish swamps of silver and low gold?

I was so happy shortly before the reset.

I finally started getting good teams. People made mistakes sure. That always happens. But there is a massive difference if that mistake consists of leaving two kills in lane - OR SEVEN.

But as the soft reset also downgraded me among all others, from yesterday to today, the difference is shocking. This ain't just getting bad teamates 4 games in a row - it seems to be the new standart on this MMR level the reset sent me. And I have to say it is almost as bad as back then when I was in Bronze 5 (them old times tho... that was season 2/3) - and on top of that people are completly learning resistant. Just had a Lux today. She hard pushes with no wards, gets ganked and stomped. And what does she do? SHE MAKES THE EXACTY SAME THING AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN - until the enemy Ahri sat on TWENTY kills.

But did she ward? Or at least stop pushing brainlessly? No, instead I had to listen to all that wine in the chat how I'm a shit jungler that should croak with cancer because I never gank. HOW THE FUCK AM I EVEN SUPPOSED TO GANK WHEN YOU ARE EITHER PUSHING OR DEAD?

For me the game has suddenly become completly unenjoyable to play. Not only are people way more toxic as usual, but the game is not about strategy or anything that makes it worth playing. It's praying again that the dumbass that leaves 10 kills in the first 20 minutes is not on your team. I cannot pick ANYTHING team reliant - and going support is pretty much already admitting you're going to lose.

I had 5 placement matches yet - all of them were finest examples of "why the fuck am I grouped with this unskilled toxic scum now" - the only reason I even won one was because the enemy adc DCed.

I finally crawled out of ELO-Hell, as they called this back then, only to be shoved right back into it.

Maybe I should just learn Lee Sin or some other unfun unfair mainstream champion - after all when I try to play my favourite champs I'm not allowed to climb one bit...
