@riot: what if we just invented a new name for base AD increases?
you know, like lethality is literally the same as flat armor pen, but is called something different?
lets say we call it "might" or something like that.
then we make
procs calculate their damage before the "new" stat is applied?
the entire point of this would of course just be clarity to how stats are calculated.
so items like
, the new atmas impaler, and other items can all scale with base ad increases and have fighter items be easier to balance for fighters without the risk of bruiser assassins and skirmishers?
because changing steraks ad from base ad to bonus ad increases is carrying a lot of risk.
the item was designed as a juggernaut item for slow fighters who dont have the mobility to evade teamfight aoe, and whos only option is to somehow live through a
ult combo, if they want to participate in fights.
changing steraks to bonus ad increase is going to make the item decent enough on champions like
and maybe other assassins and skirmishers, if they want to become burst resistant.
once again, bruiser assassins and skirmishers would become better fighters than the champions who are actually supposed to be beefy fighters.
either way, i understand why youre trying to get rid of the trigage build, but youre doing it from the wrong end. its sheen that should be changed, not steraks.
