velkoz's abilities seem off...

So I am a very avid player of the all mighty VEL'GOD but since this new update it feels like something is off. Before patch 6.9 I was able to throw his E and W near simultaneously, however now when I click to throw both out to a certain location only the one I click second has been thrown about 3/5 times. I did not see this in vel'koz's new patch update saying a delay between the two casts or something prohibiting the simulcast of both of his spells and was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem too?
