Why Remove Spammable Taunts, Riot?

In case you haven't heard, , , , , and 's spammable taunts/jokes can no longer be spammed in-game. Spamming taunt was some of the most fun I ever had on these champions, especially (with his your leg-your leg- your leg- youryouryouryouryour-legacy), and playing them doesn't feel the same without it. Unlinke taunt skating, taunt spamming has no direct impact on how the game is played or how hitboxes are displayed. If the reason this was removed was to prevent people from being tilted by it, then this removal has about the same logic as, for lack of a better comparison, losing his cigar. I know spammable taunts' removal doesn't effect many people, but if we few don't respond with out concerns, Riot may take it further by putting cooldowns on things like 's taunt or laugh, or even emotes in general. I know it's their game, but Riot removing taunt spamming without obvious reasong or making a post describing and justifying their decision just doesn't seem right to me. But hey, what do I know. I'm just a silver III and main. Maybe I don't know what's right for the game.

Just wanted to post how I felt about this whole thing, hopefully a Rioter sees this and sheds some light on the whole situation, but for now, I'll just go back to my end-of-season chest grinding. To anyone reading this, have a good rest of your day. [zombie-nunu-bummed]
