Lowered range, increased damage or crit item active?

Just had a thought.

What if we had an items that had an active that lowers your attack range, but increases your damage/ap or crit chance?

I know yas would abuse it tho.....this is why we can't have nice things.

But imaging it on mobile adcs like luc, kalista, graves. When there is no more room to kite safely, you can turn it on for best use, or if you want to add more damage in exchange for range.

IDK, I think it would add diversity.
