Stuck in Bronze?

Hi, I have a really hard time understanding why I am still in BronzeV. It is so ridiculously frusterating to get an S+ in your game (as a Rumble in the Jg) and still have a majority f*#& all team that is either bad or just throwing, and you lose. I mean look into my LoLKing profile.. I beg you please! Using LoLSumo I have a Plat II SPI, yet I still lose so many ranked games where I feel like I do very good (at least relative to the other players in game). If anyone has advice or tips to help me on my attempted grind out of bronze I would appreciate it, or if you have knowledge on how to deal with these poor seeming teammates leave a comment! I hesitate to blame the ranking system but I feel screwed over that although I can win 9 placement games and get S ranks in many of my games, I still get thrown in a moshpit of bad or trolling players! RITO HELP ME!

The best advice I can offer is to abuse hard carry champions. If it's a reoccurring theme that your team can't contribute enough, and winning is more important than fun, it would be best to pick champions that offer enough power for you to win. This is just theoretical advice, though because I don't actually play ranked but I just see this as a possible solution to your problems.

The funny part is that terrible teammates range from B5 to challenger lol

Lolsumo rates things too high. I get challenger/master like everygame.

I'm not a challenger/master player though

You die way too much to be able to carry, every second death is a second of no pressure You also have a huge amount of kills, which tells me you are fighting a lot, you don't want to fight in bronze but you just want to take towers. You probably go mid a lot instead of splitpushing side lanes.

Don't ever think that you have bad teammates in bronze 5, you are at the worst possible elo right now and you can't even get there if you weren't thrash yourself. Wake up and realise how bad you are playing right now.

Dont play Rumble, and let ur team get kills, altho they might seem useless, but ur team having enough damage is important too, I played Kha jungle and took every kill, got around 38 kills maybe, but once I died, team had no damage since they weren't fed, so always let ur team get kills.

The biggest thing to remember about this game is it doesn't matter if you are 52/2 or 2/52, whoever's team kills the enemy nexus wins. Obviously you don't want to be dying that much, but kills don't really mean anything if you aren't taking towers/objects with them.

So many games become ARAM at 20 minutes where we're trying to take mid tower for so long and yet nothing is happening because we are just waveclearing on either side. I started buying Banner of Command in my support builds for this reason so I could place it in a lane and let it take towers while I sit mid with my team. If you can learn to manage the side waves, you'll probably be able to take tower without much trouble simply cause low elo teams don't know what to do with splitpushing.

If the wave is on your side of the river, set up a slow push by clearing out the melee minions and leaving the casters. The casters won't be able to clear out your minions so not many ally minions will die. The enemy caster will hold the wave in that position on your side of the river as well, meaning that when the next wave spawns, your ally minions will get there quicker, killing off the remaining casters and pushing the wave, now creating a wave of maybe 10 minions vs the enemy 6 minions, which will slowly push towards the enemy tower. Someone will be forced to go deal with that wave or risk losing a tower and, due to someone needing to be there, you can go take an objective since it will take more time for the enemy team to regroup and contest the objective.

Hey I got an idea. Start asking around what are the best champions to punish people with. So you probably think that getting out of bronze is about carrying really hard, but I got out of bronze with ashe and it wasn't because I was slaughtering people with her.

So one thing I remember happening every game with ashe is that they would pick a tank like garen or darius and that player would start to get really aggressive and put themselves too close to me and too far from their team. I would then ulti the tank. My team would probably not follow up very well but regardless, their tank would start to die a lot more in the following teamfights. And he would probably flame his team.

So yea, I think bronze is about punishing those enemy teammembers who would feed if they were on your side. Cause they are bad you just gotta make em look bad.

It looks like you've played less than 25 games. I wouldn't say you're stuck yet. Just do as much as you can to get your laners ahead and/or solo carry to victory. Try to 1 v 5 intermediate bots to show what is needed to win a game alone.
