Garen is disgusting

He has skill expression in his kit.

Wow, someone actually posted a comment about Garen's skill expression. I wrote a bunch and ended up deleting it lol. So I'm just going to dig up my deleted comment, trim it a bunch, and add a little more to the thread.

You can combine E and Q. Sometimes you want to engage with Q and then E afterwards, but you can also use E for engage and hide your Q in it. Q will still speed your movement speed while your spinning and you can Q after the spin ends.

You can stop your spinning early. Sometimes you want to do that to ult the enemy or just don't push the wave too much. E doesn't do that much damage to minions early on, you might want to basic attack instead to last hit under tower.

Knowing when you can flash Q + Ult to assassinate. Thats a combo I use a lot. I did that to my friend one day, we ended up in the same game when we did separate queues lol. Didn't know it was her until she mentioned my name in chat xD Unfortunately I didn't save the replay.

E also ghosts Garen, so if you need to reach an enemy or escape but there's a ton of minions, use E to bypass them. No more worrying about minion blocking.

Maximizing Q. It boosts your speed for awhile so if you want to gank with it, you have to time when you'll reach your destination and before it goes on CD.

Knowing when to max his Q and when to max E first. Sometimes you rather poke instead so you max Q. E doesn't do that much damage at first until you invest some attack speed into it.

I'm not the best Garen, but hey, I am thinking when I'm playing him. I know he's a simple and easy champion, but there's definitely a few ways to push him to the limits.
