Autofilling Support is like doing a chore that I don't have to do.

Let's be real here. Being in close proximity to an emotionally unstable 13 year old ADC for 15 minutes, doing everything they tell you to do, and doing everything you possibly can to help them succeed, while being completely dependent on their success (and willingness to succeed, not afk, int etc...), JUST ISN'T FUN.

It's like a chore, except that I don't actually have to do it. It's about as much fun as cleaning the kitchen, adding comments to my existing code, or picking up my room. The only difference is that I feel a sense of accomplishment when I finish chores IRL, because I know it frees up time for me to have fun later.

I know why autofilling exists, it helps the queue system. But the punishment system needs to be improved. It has to be stricter in banning trolls, and there also needs to be a way of reporting bad behavior in champ select.

It's almost as if you're working as a team to achieve victory or something.... huh, weird.

You know, as a support main, I've had my fair share of horrible adc's.

But you know what's better?

Telling my Ezreal to not be aggressive with his e, and if he get's grabbed by enemy Blitzcrank to e towards our tower the moment he gets grabbed if it happens because it'll cancel the grab.

Funny how many Ezreal's actually LISTENED and managed to escape because oh, he didn't get brought to the Blitz.

Work with your adc, help them. Give them advice if you can. If they refuse to listen, help other lanes. Roam. Don't let the adc drag you down with them. Oh, and mute them if they start bullshit.

Welcome to the world of Support! Play Janna.

adding comments to my existing code

Truly an undervalued part of life. When you come back to that old code 5 or 10 years later that you thought you were never going to need again, and you see that you commented it well enough that you can actually understand what it does and how to modify it? Wonderful. And much less embarrassing than bringing that project up with a coworker watching over your should and not being able to answer "why did you use 5 layers of nested macros instead of templatizing your arguments".

Actually it's more paying your taxes.

The fact you used THAT as an analogy is really telling of your character tho. :x

Sometimes I don't take my plate over to the dishwasher. I make my bf do it for me. It's not worth the energy for two people to move over to the dishwasher so I excuse myself from doing it. It should always be this way because I don't want to do it.

Me-me-me-meeeeeeeeeee. Me-me-me-meeeeeeeeeee.

"It's like a chore, except that I don't actually have to do it." Well, someone on your team has to do it EVERY GAME. And someone on the enemy team has to do it EVERY GAME. So that means it needs to be done by 2 of 10 people every game.

So yeah, you may not be cleaning your room, to go with your example, but it's like doing the dishes. Someone, bare minimum, needs to put them in a dishwasher, or if you don't own one, wash them by hand. Is it so hard for you to do it once in a while? Two people do it every game already.
