Why does this happen? Is it the match making? MMR? Help? (is every game carry able?)

League of Legends Match History

Why does this happen to me? I've made my mistakes... jk. So every time i play a game this happens (I am the Jinx) what am I doing wrong? I'm used to someone calling the shots, and if I try to call the shots my team is like "no your dumb, I'm not listening, I know better" and then what happens? They get caught out (where I told them they shouldn't be) and die. What do I do? I would rather not get a "git gud scrub" answer please. I need someone to actually GIVE ME ADVICE ON HOW TO CARRY. (I wish i could post pictures) I also just realized the enemy jg was diamond and I'm bronze. I know its not ranked but :/ how is that fair?

Proguides on YouTube has some great league fundamental videos.

I'd start with those.

Every game is carryable as long as you can survive to lategame. One mistake from enemy team can turn the game in late...

Overfed Warwick chased and got miraculously killed with 30/3 stats... His team lost 5v4 and say hi to undeserved core-rush win 😅

There is always a CHANCE for this to happen. As long as team will not throw the towel.

is every game carry able?

Yes but with a catch, There is an important difference between possibility and probability. Some games the probability to win is so close to 0 its better to just accept it as such.

Understand that I am a unpopular poster around her because I trend to be the most vocal person on the entire boards for supporting Elo and MMR. They work. I like them, I love the math behind them. Yet I am here telling you that there are going to be individual games that are inevitable garbage one sided bullshit. Because Playing to lose is far less effort then playing to win. That's any game of skill. All in and fold. Kudos you just lost poker. Playing to lose is simple. When you have RNG teammates you get fucked badly by folks who decided they want to see a loss over a win. Human egos will impact gameplay in PvP games cuz gameplay is Player determined.

MMR is a application of probability theory. Simple concepts that are made by more complex mathematics. I am happy to discuss it in detail with literally any one who is interested in the topic. I will spare you the walls of text about it unless you ask or want to learn. The most basic Adjustment formula is Rn=Ro+K(W-We)

For league Its a Binominal system. "fair" is always on paper. Reality is high uncertainty games are unfair at high frequency.Elo and MMR self correct. The only reason you see dramatic rating change (rank) is when the system does not have a correct value on your account. Gameplay is not at all a factor, it feels very counter intuitive for a lot of players when they hear that, but despite the aggro I get for telling folks this it remains true. If needed I can provide links to support that.

The only Variable in that Basic Elo adjustment I gave you related to the game is W. W is the result of a match, this is the single factor from games. Everything else is probability. RN and RO are rating value, WE and K have to do with a Distribution Model and class intervals. W variable is simple. In context of Leauge of Legends its binary. its Win or its Loss. Its the single variable that impacts rating change direction. how close or 1 sided is irrelevant. Win or loss from trolls/greifers/weak or strong players. None of that is a factor.

MMR is built off Elo's work. The main difference is it has to account for individuals separately rather then treat the entire team as a singular unit. That's important to do.

@the topic You will get people telling you a bunch of bullshit. Do XYZ to win. Reality is your better off learning then playing to your strength's. There is a boat load of "hypercary 1v9 to climb" advice, That's garbage. The single best thing you can do to climb is play to your personal strengths. Play what works best for you, as a individual and the proof of that will be in your WR. https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Kai+Guy 26W 9L Alistar In a meta folks call tanks "weak"
